Apply Now to the GEEP APRC International Internship Program Interns Wanted

Are you looking to intern abroad, broaden your global perspective,
and gain hands-on experience in environmental education?

We invite young leaders aged 18 to 30 to apply for our 14-day international internship program.
 

Program Objectives

  1. 1.Foster International Exchange:
  2.     Promote collaboration and exchange in environmental education across the Asia-Pacific region.
  4. 2.Empower Youth:
  5.     Provide opportunities for cross-border learning and service, enhancing practical experience
  6.     while immersing participants in diverse cultures.
 

Eligibility & Recruitment

  1. 1.Target Audience:
  2.     Youth from the Asia-Pacific region aged 18 to 30 (inclusive).
  5. 2.Taiwanese Interns:
  6.     An estimated 3 positions available for internships in Japan or Thailand.
  8. 3.International Interns:
  9.     An estimated 3 positions available for internships within Taiwan.
 

Internship Locations

▸ In Taiwan (For International Applicants):

  1. Dongyanshan Nature Center (Taoyuan City, Taiwan) (From September 1, to December 31, 2026)
  2. Wu-wei River Cultural and Educational Association (Yilan County, Taiwan) (From July 1 to  December 31, 2026)
  3. Guandu Jing Si Hall (Taipei City, Taiwan) (August 16 - 29, 2026)

▸ In the Asia-Pacific Region (For Taiwanese Applicants):

  1. The Golden Jubilee Museum of Agriculture (Bangkok, Pathum Thani, Thailand) (From July 1, to August 31, 2026)
  2. Izumi City Crane Museum (Kagoshima-ken, Japan) (From December 1, 2026 to February 28, 2027)
  3. Environmental Education Center Thailand (EEC Thailand) (Samut Prakan Province, Thailand) (November 1 - 30, 2026)


Financial Support

1.International Airfare:
    The program subsidizes round-trip economy-class airfare
    for the most direct route between the intern’s place of departure and the internship destination.
  1. 2.Accommodation:
  2.     The program subsidizes up to 50% of the accommodation expenses for 14 days (13 nights)
  3.     in the host city of the internship placement.
    1. (1) Overseas Accommodation Expenses:
    2.     The subsidy is calculated based on 35% of the daily subsistence allowance rates stipulated in the
    3.     “Daily Subsistence Allowance Table for Personnel on Overseas Official Travel under Central Government Agencies.”
a. The Golden Jubilee Museum of Agriculture:
    USD 99.40 per night (Bangkok), USD 36.05 per night (Pathum Thani Province).
b. Izumi City Crane Museum:
    USD 73.15 per night (Kagoshima Prefecture).
c. Environmental Education Center Thailand (EEC Thailand):
    USD 36.05 per night (Samut Prakan Province).
 
(2)Accommodation Expenses in Taiwan:
    Accommodation ceilings (effective from 2025)
    set at NT$3,500 per night on weekdays and NT$4,500 per night on weekends,
    and subsidized at 50% of actual eligible expenses.
a. NT$1,750 per night (weekdays).
b. NT$2,250 per night (weekends).
