Are you looking to intern abroad, broaden your global perspective,
and gain hands-on experience in environmental education?
We invite young leaders aged 18 to 30 to apply for our 14-day international internship program.
Program Objectives
- 1.Foster International Exchange:
- Promote collaboration and exchange in environmental education across the Asia-Pacific region.
- 2.Empower Youth:
- Provide opportunities for cross-border learning and service, enhancing practical experience
- while immersing participants in diverse cultures.
Eligibility & Recruitment
- 1.Target Audience:
- Youth from the Asia-Pacific region aged 18 to 30 (inclusive).
- 2.Taiwanese Interns:
- An estimated 3 positions available for internships in Japan or Thailand.
- 3.International Interns:
- An estimated 3 positions available for internships within Taiwan.
Internship Locations
▸ In Taiwan (For International Applicants):
- Dongyanshan Nature Center (Taoyuan City, Taiwan) (From September 1, to December 31, 2026)
- Wu-wei River Cultural and Educational Association (Yilan County, Taiwan) (From July 1 to December 31, 2026)
- Guandu Jing Si Hall (Taipei City, Taiwan) (August 16 - 29, 2026)
▸ In the Asia-Pacific Region (For Taiwanese Applicants):
- The Golden Jubilee Museum of Agriculture (Bangkok, Pathum Thani, Thailand) (From July 1, to August 31, 2026)
- Izumi City Crane Museum (Kagoshima-ken, Japan) (From December 1, 2026 to February 28, 2027)
- Environmental Education Center Thailand (EEC Thailand) (Samut Prakan Province, Thailand) (November 1 - 30, 2026)
Financial Support
The program subsidizes round-trip economy-class airfare
for the most direct route between the intern’s place of departure and the internship destination.
- 2.Accommodation:
- The program subsidizes up to 50% of the accommodation expenses for 14 days (13 nights)
- in the host city of the internship placement.

- (1) Overseas Accommodation Expenses:
- The subsidy is calculated based on 35% of the daily subsistence allowance rates stipulated in the
- “Daily Subsistence Allowance Table for Personnel on Overseas Official Travel under Central Government Agencies.”

USD 99.40 per night (Bangkok), USD 36.05 per night (Pathum Thani Province).
b. Izumi City Crane Museum:
USD 73.15 per night (Kagoshima Prefecture).
c. Environmental Education Center Thailand (EEC Thailand):
USD 36.05 per night (Samut Prakan Province).

(2)Accommodation Expenses in Taiwan:
Accommodation ceilings (effective from 2025)
set at NT$3,500 per night on weekdays and NT$4,500 per night on weekends,
and subsidized at 50% of actual eligible expenses.
